THE CHALLENGE
NEWEST BERLIN was introduced to Berlin Fashion Week for the first time in January 2023. As a completely new host for multiple runway shows NEWEST BERLIN had to develop a social media branding as well as a content strategy for the communication of each designer and the event days.
THE ACTIVITIES
I created a social media branding for the new fashion showcase NEWEST BERLIN. Coordinating the designer’s input, interviewing the designers, planning and scheduling the content as well as developing new content formats for a younger audience was part of my responsibilities for NEWEST BERLIN. A social media reporting was handed out to all stakeholders including the Senate for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises and all sponsors.
THE OUTCOME
Besides a full social media branding for the new fashion showcase NEWEST BERLIN it reached 44.1K accounts organically through its own social media channel during its first season at Berlin Fashion Week. More than 50% of accounts reached were new accounts. The content achieved more than 225K impressions in just 5 days.
